I set up my Acorn account on May 5, 2023. I have not received my $40 bonus. How long should it take to get the bonus? I have had 2 deposits for $5 each.
Looks like they updated it to “within 10 days of following month”

Are you sure that it’s free and they don’t have a $5 monthly fee? Because I think I got two $5 charges
Those aren’t fees, those are your recurring deposits. You can cancel recurring deposits once you receive the bonus and then you can withdraw all your money (bonus + deposits).
