Sprint: Get Unlimited Talk, Text & Data For Only $15/month!

Update 06/16: This promotion has expired

Sprint has always had to rely on offering less expensive phone rates than the competition due to having less coverage and exclusive devices. Last year they started a promotion giving new customers a year of unlimited service. That promotion is still active but it jumps to $60/month after the 1st year. Now, they’re trying a different tactic by offering unlimited service plans for only $15/month.

From the Sprint Press Release:

Now‘s the PERFECT time to switch to Sprint and experience our network. I’m thrilled to announce that starting June 8, for a limited time, Sprint will offer Unlimited for $15 per month per line. Whether you need one line or four lines, they’re just $15 each. No catch, no surprises.

At Sprint, we’ve worked incredibly hard to improve our network. In fact, Sprint’s national average download speed increased 34.5 percent year-over-year, more than any other national carrier!1 Plus, we’ve increased our investment to make our coverage, reliability and speed even better as Sprint prepares to launch the first mobile 5G network in the U.S. in the first half of 2019.

So, give us a try – this offer won’t last long!

Switching to Sprint has never been easier than with Unlimited Kickstart:

  • Bring your smartphone or buy a new one from Sprint.
  • Bring your number from another wireless carrier.
  • There’s no annual contract.
  • Get Unlimited Data, Talk and Text with streaming video in DVD quality for $15 per month per line with AutoPay. That’s only $60 a month for a family of four.2

Unlimited Kickstart is an online exclusive offer – responding to consumers’ desire to purchase in a fast, simple and convenient manner. We’ve made it easy for new customers to switch to Sprint – starting on June 8.

Hurry, though; just like summer, this promotion won’t last long.

Few things that stand out:

  • Deal starts June 7th [Doesn’t say until when it’ll last but its expected to last for ‘weeks, not months.’
  • Its an online exclusive offer so you can’t sign up in store. Here’s the link to sign up
  • Only for new customers who switch to Sprint
  • $15/month per line with AutoPay
  • No annual contracts
  • You can check if your phone is compatible with Sprint here
  • Video streams up to 480p, music up to 500 Kbps, gaming streams up to 2Mbps and you might be deprioritized at peak times

  1. I’m in middle of my 1 year free with them. My plan was always to switch out once the 12 months are up. Hopefully this lasts long enough where I can sign up with TMobile with a prepaid account or T-Mobile 1 and port back into Spring

  2. I have AT&T and it doesn’t work in the lower level of my building which is where I spend most of the day at work. No contracts will to trying to sign up.
Sprint works with any unlocked phones?

  3. I tried doing the 1 year free but it said my phone isn’t eligible. Does that mean I won’t be eligible for this offer too?

    • The $15 plan will stay $15.
The 1 year free plan will jump to $60.

Both don’t have contracts though so you can switch whenever you’d like

  4. I really want to get in on this deal but I’m nervous about the network coverage in NJ and upstate N.Y. how do they compare to At&t in regards to network reliability? Does anyone currently use them that could help me out?

    • I’ve used Sprint for 15 years and never had an issue with their actual coverage. However, it is very disturbing they don’t do any incentives fro their current customers. Looking into porting out and porting back in to get this deal

    • Same thing I asked when they offered the 1 year free. They wouldn’t change my account at all so I switch both my lines to T-Mobile for $100 a month which was similar to what I was paying with Spring with their fees/taxes.
Customer have to start taking care of their own. T Mobile gives me freebies every tuesday and got 1 year mlb tv for free and netflix for free! I’ll gladly pay extra for all that plus better network coverage

  5. How long is the service gonna be $15 for? Will it increase year after year?

    • “According to Allan Samson, Sprint’s senior vice president of acquisition marketing, there are currently no plans to increase the monthly price for those who sign up during this promotion.”

  6. Sprint has horrible coverage, especially upstate where I work. I spent a lot of time on the phone yelling at sprint because my phone wan’t working. Not worth it, go to Verizon instead. They have service upstate NY and you can stream at higher ressi

  7. Had my children on my family account for $30 each a month on T-Mobile. Moved both of them to Sprint, had to buy 1 of them new phone but saving $30 a month will be all worth it. They barely use the actual calling and mostly on wifi anyways so not worried about service
