This came as a surprise to not only consumers but to many of their own employees as well who showed up for their regular work day. Of the 63 store closings, about<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2018\/01\/11\/sams-club-closing-dozens-stores-reports-say\/1024986001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"> 50 of them are closing for good<\/span><\/a>. Some have already closed and the remaining will close over the next month. 10-13 of the stores will be flipped into distribution centers.
