Whatsapp has officially rolled out the group call feature for voice and video calls. At this time, group calls will be limited to 4 people at a time.<\/p>\n
To start a group call, simply initiate a regular voice or video call with another person and then in the upper right corner, an “Add Participant” icon will appear. When a 3rd or 4th person receive the phone call, they’ll be able to see all the participants in the group call before having to answer.<\/p>\n

We’re excited to announce that group calls for voice and video are coming to WhatsApp starting today.<\/p>\n You can make a group call with up to four people total – anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new “add participant” button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call.<\/p>\n Group calls are always end-to-end encrypted, and we’ve designed calling to work reliably around the world in different network conditions.
