Poppi Soda $8.9M Settlement: Get Up to $16 Without Receipts or More with Proof of Purchase

Poppi has agreed to an $8.9 million settlement to resolve lawsuits claiming its “gut healthy” marketing misled consumers. The suits alleged that Poppi’s advertising overstated the gut health benefits of its sparkling prebiotic sodas — specifically, that the amount of prebiotic fiber (around 2 grams per can) is too low to deliver the promised benefits.

Who’s Eligible:

Anyone in the U.S. who purchased Poppi beverages (any flavor, any size) for household use (not resale) between January 23, 2020 and July 18, 2025.

What You’ll Get:

If you have proof of purchase, you can claim:

$0.75 per single can
$3 per 4‑pack
$6 per 8‑pack
$9 per 12‑ or 15‑pack

If you don’t have receipts, there’s a cap of $16 per household.

Every approved claim gets at least $5 per household.

Deadlines & Next Steps:

Claim deadline: September 26, 2025. After that, you can’t file a claim.
Final approval hearing: Scheduled for November 20, 2025.
If the settlement is approved, payments will go out after that.

You’ll have to the option to receive payment via PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, ACH Transfer or Check.
