A survey of the world’s best airlines have been released by TripAdvisor. The rankings were based on the quantity and quality of the reviews left by travelers who factored in the cleanliness, comfort and customer service of each airline. Those results were then put into an algorithm by TripAdvisor to get the final results.
This year’s survey placed Singapore Airlines as the best airline in the world. Last year’s winner Emirates, dropped down to third. Southwest Airlines was the lone U.S airline that cracked the top 10 in the number 6 slot.

8. Qatar Airways
7. Jet2
6. Southwest Airlines
5. EVA Air
4. Japan Airlines
3. Emirates
1. Singapore Airlines
