Over 200 Million Eggs In 9 States (Including NY, NJ & FL) Have Been Recalled Over Salmonella Fears

Rose Acre Farms have recalled over 200 million eggs in 9 states over salmonella concerns. According to the FDA, there have been over 20 reported illnesses so far. The states affected are Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia and were distributed to stores (Walmart being one of them) and restaurants.

  • Crystal Farms
  • Sunshine Farms
  • Country DayBreak
  • Food Lion
  • Loose A
  • Coburn Farms
  • Glenview
  • Great Value

If you have any of these eggs, you should throw it out or return to store for a refund or credit.

Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes deadly infections, especially in children and older adults. Symptoms include fever, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and abdominal pain.
