There is merchandise fee
“Merchandise fee” is the tax deposit per bottle. So if you’re a NY resident, you pay 5 cents per bottle. So 5 cents x 24 bottles is $1.20 extra for you. That’s the law

Its a 2 pack of 12 like the Walmart listing clearly says in the title, picture and description. Furthermore, they are charging a tax deposit on 24 cans at checkout (for the states that charge it)
